Working closely alongside the Managing Director and senior management team, you will oversee all aspects of the finance function, implement new systems, processes, and controls as a solid foundation for future organic growth plans.

Ready to roll up sleeves and take a hands-on approach whilst having strong leadership and communication skills to foster robust relationships with the Board, senior management, debt providers and other stakeholders.

This is a key senior position within the business involving developing and managing financial reporting, budgeting and planning. Incorporating analysis to assess risks and opportunities, impact on profitability and working capital requirements.

Responsibilities and skills
- Oversee the control of all financial transactions and accounting matters.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
- Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Develop and improve the company's finance/ERP system.
- Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel.
- Oversee the corporate funding strategy and manage relationships with partners.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly and annual basis.
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report directly to the Board.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
- Handling of insurance and property matters.
- Provide financial support to other strategic business projects as necessary.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong Excel capability.
- Sound business knowledge and experience.
- Accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
