Freelance Esol

**Job Title**: English Tutor

**Responsible to**:Principal.

**Key Role**:Teaching.

Anglo Skills College is an established city centre based private college that prides itself on its quality of teaching and learning.

The college currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic qualified ESOL/ English Tutor. Applicants are welcome from individuals within a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role and is local or willing to travel to the College in Nottingham.

**Key Skills and Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside the principal to deliver high quality learning experiences to students.
- Create lesson plans which meet the individual needs of students.
- Be available to attend college Open Days / Meet and Greet students.
- To adhere to all college policies, including those related to safeguarding and pupil safety.
- Undertake other various responsibilities as directed by the Principal.
- Deliver course content and conduct assessments
- Liaise with administration staff and students on a regular basis.
- Maintain an open line of communication with program coordinator and students to assure program quality
- Monitor student attendance, assess them on a regular basis, and gather their progress information throughout their study
- Be accessible and respond promptly to student and management concerns and needs
- Perform the coordination and organisation work required to teach

**Qualifications**:
Graduation with teaching qualification is preferable or 2 years experience in English Language.

BA English, CELTA or DELTA.

**Experience and Requirements**:

- 1 year+ experience within a similar teaching role.
- A DBS check will be required for this role.
- Experience teaching in the UK.

**Hours**:Dependant on scheduled lesson times.

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
