Our client is looking to recruit a Systems Analyst to develop and offer a specialist management information reporting service to managers, supervisors and members of staff who are required to perform management functions. You will ensure that accurate and relevantmanagement information is available to meet organisational needs and to provide resilience and support in respect of Systems administration and focusing on quality regarding service request information to produce bespoke reports that provide individual scorecards and managing the reporting for SLAs and performance for the Contact Centre.
Key responsibilities of the Systems Analyst:

- Design, develop and produce a comprehensive range of management information reports in respect of personnel, sickness absence and all other aspects of the personnel function in order to meet the needs of the Contact Centre.
- Undertake analysis, write reports and draw conclusions in respect of personnel management information to ensure that all reported information is accurate, meaningful and correctly interpreted both within the organisation and externally.
- Liaise and negotiate with managers and users after analysing business case requirements to produce both corporate and local specialist defined management information reports in order to support the SLAs and performance management for the Contact Centre.
- Develop and provide a specialist advisory service for all staff in respect of business systems, processes and management reporting to support all users of the Personnel IT Systems working in a devolved management structure.
- Lead the provision, analysis for Freedom of Information requests working with the department Team Leaders.
- Assist the Team Leaders in maintaining the quality of data held on the Personnel IT system, creating new users, managing access and security in order to provide resilience and business continuity. Undertaking all systems administration duties whenever requiredon behalf of the Contact Centre.
- Provide system administration support in respect of the data analysis tool and to provide advice and guidance for users to ensure that accurate, relevant and timely information is available including team score cards, managing quality checks and providingdetailed reporting on all management information.
- Develop the relationship with the IT Support Helpdesk and CSD, in order to maximise system availability by assisting with process of identifying and resolving ticket requests on behalf of the Contact Centre. Liaise and negotiate with technical support staffconcerning issues such as report scheduling, change control, implementation and testing of upgrades and system customisation in order to provide an efficient up to date system.
- To participate and contribute to the Departmental planning process on all aspects of data handling, management information, data protection and information security issues setting targets and goals where appropriate and monitoring performance against objectives.
Key requirements for the Systems Analyst:

- Educated to quality management level in order to advise and make recommendations relating to compliance with relevant legislation
- Detailed, wide-ranging knowledge of personnel policies, procedures and systems.
- A detailed knowledge of analytical and reporting software tools to enable effective and accurate reporting of management information for use within the organisation and also for external bodies.
- The ability to analyse large amounts of data and information, produce reports and draw conclusions to ensure that information is taken in context, is interpreted correctly and supports the decision-making process for senior managers.
- The ability to be able to communicate (both verbally and in writing) confidently and effectively with individuals at all levels ranging from senior management executives to general operative staff both from within the organisation and externally on technicaland procedural issues relating to personnel management information including the presentation of recommendations to management.
- The ability to analyse specific business requirements within the personnel management environment and where appropriate use the specialist knowledge obtained to influence and recommend procedural and technical solutions to capture data and report accordingly.
- A thorough, meticulous knowledge of information handling and data security protocols and the use of audit techniques and functionality to monitor compliance.
