Job Role: Purchase Ledger & Accounts Administrator

**Salary**: £25,000k - £35,000k (Per Annum)
Hours: (40 Hours Per Week) 0800 - 1700 or 0900 - 1800 (Mon - Fri)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

**Job Type**: Full time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

- Process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all purchase ledger transactions
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve any queries or issues
- Review and monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments
- Prepare and process payment runs
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Assist with the maintenance of accounting records and general ledger
- Provide support to other members of the accounting team as needed

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger & Accounts Administrator or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage or QuickBooks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
