Graduate Trainee Teaching Assistant

We have has incredible success in upskilling graduates in a special school based in Patchway. We will offer training and support to get you on your journey as an educator, if this is something you are looking for? The school has been purpose built to supportchildren from the ages of 5 to 18 with autism. This is not "non-verbal" autism, in fact, the children here are very high functioning. As this is a specialist school, there are fewer children in the class and lots of support - usually up to four extra adultsin the class.
You, as a Graduate Trainee Teaching Assistant will support these students Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30. You will be paid weekly at £10.77 per hour and will be offered a permanent contract after 16 weeks if all is well. This job is to start as soon as possibleand there are multiple, full-time positions available.
We will offer training including Team Teach, which is a highly regarded qualification that focuses on de-escalation and behaviour management and level 2 safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
