**About us**

Cornfield Bakery is a family-run artisan bakery.

We bake our bread in a small production unit in Long Crendon & sell from our shops in Thame & Wheatley, Oxfordshire, as well as through farmers' markets.

We are hiring a Shop/Cafe Assistant at Cornfield Bakery & Cafe in Thame, Oxfordshire.

Applicants must be flexible and prepared to work overtime & holiday cover, including early mornings & Saturdays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome customers
- Take customer orders
- Prepare & serve food & beverages
- Answer customer questions
- Take payments from customers
- Replenish shop stock
- Clean workstations and tables
- Set up tables with necessary utensils and condiments
- Wash dishes and glasses
- Maintain a clean work area

Salary will reflect experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 17-26 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thame: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
