Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Requirements: Ability to complete manual work, this role will include physical activity including lifting, digging and moving objects. Great team player with Good communication skills.
Personal Qualities: Trustworthy, Passionate about outdoors, Practical attitude, Self-motivated, Hard-working and Happy to work across multiple sites with early morning starts.
- You will need to be able to tow a trailer (training provided if required) and lead a small team to complete grounds maintenance at local schools & commercial sites.
- Your main duties will include grass cutting, hedge cutting, sports line-marking, border maintenance, winter gritting, leaf clearance (training will be provided where required).
- You will be required to ensure that all sites and external areas are maintained to an exceptional standard.
- General ground maintenance duties using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery including ride-on mowers, hedge cutters and brush cutters.
- This is based on a rotating roster (working average of 5 days in 7 (full time), Tuesday - Friday (Saturday & Sunday Off) followed by Monday - Saturday (Sunday & Monday Off).
- Option for Part Time can be discussed (working set days only).
- Working from our Kislingbury, Northampton Site.
**Qualifications**:
- Passion for Horticulture & Working Outdoors
- Great communication skills and customer service
- UK driving licence
- Trailer driving experience (not essential but preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year's Grounds Maintenance experience
- PA1 & PA6 spraying license (not essential but preferred)
- Have a basic understanding of mobile phone technology to ensure that work activity is properly recorded.
