**HSE Officer (Health & Safety Officer)**

**Fulltime (40 hours) Monday to Friday**

**Yorkshire based. (West or South Yorkshire ideally)**

**£30-£35k Basic**

**Car Allowance £4,800 per Annum plus fuel card**

Route 1 has an excellent opportunity for an experience processed-driven Health and Safety Officer to join their client’s team due to business growth and expansion. Successful applicants will hold are working towards NEBOSH and have experience in a similar production/manufacturing Health and Safety Role.

Reporting to the HSE Manager the purpose of this position in brief:

- Cover 4 Production site locations, monitoring all processing operations, continuously looking for any areas that can be improved,
- Review and monitor the management system and all associated procedures, SOP’s, SSOW, Risk Assessments and legislation.
- Conducting audits for compliance and legislation.
- Liaise with the Site Managers to improve all aspects of HSE and Environmental systems and processes.
- Produce reports, attend and minute HSE monthly meetings, log actions, and monitor completions.
- Train employees, inductions and drug tests, Toolbox talks
