**Salary**: 22K-25K DOE
**Hours**: 8.30am to 5pm
**Location**: Upton, Poole - BH16 5SJ
Plus 23 days holiday, rising with service at 1 and 2 years, plus all bank holidays.

The Junior Buyer will provide support to the Purchasing team who will be responsible for the day-to-day procurement and timely delivery of the materials and services needs of the TestLink organisation. A Junior Buyer must possess experience in key areas of purchasing, supplier management and/or negotiation.

**Key Duties**
Assist in managing and delivering the organisation’s day-to-day requirements for spare parts and materials with both new and current suppliers.
- Monitor and complete Low Stock Report Daily
- Monitor and complete Open Quotes Daily
- Monitor stock shortage report
- Proactively advise of any issues that may affect material and spares delivery to agreed service levels and ETA’s that will directly affect Test Link’s performance.
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure delivery schedules are met
- Build relations with existing and new suppliers going forward
- Monitor supplier’s performance
- Development of existing suppliers, identify new suppliers of goods and services as dictated by the business needs of the organisation.
- Contribute to the development of improvements in productivity, quality, processes and systems through new initiatives and best practices.

**Person Specification**
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work under own initiative to solve problems
- Motivated with a structured and logical approach to problem solving, thinking outside the box.
- Calm and collected with ability to work under extreme pressure.
- Confident when dealing with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
