Taylor Lewis is an independent professional construction consultancy providing a range of specialist services and advice to both public and private sector clients.They are looking to expand their team and looking for a Apprentice Surveyor in their Retrofit Team based in Exeter.

To carry out the role of Apprentice Surveyor and to assist senior staff in their roles.

The roles may include (but not limited to)
- Typical quantity surveying role on traditional projects including taking off, costing reporting, valuation, final account settlement etc
- Working on schemes including preparing cost estimates, assessing valuations, cost reporting, chairing meetings, liaising directly with the client.
- The Apprentice Surveyor will also be responsible for carrying out the above roles in their own right, working under close supervision from senior surveyors.
- Assisting with Retrofit Assessments on site.
- Assisting with Retrofit Coordination including site visits and data collection.
- Generally assisting other members of the Taylor Lewis team.
- All roles require the post holder to be a self-starter with good interpersonal and organisational skills. This role is client facing. Retrofit qualifications and accreditations will be offered.

Hours: 37.00 per week

Requirements and Prospects:

- Good communications skills are essential for liaison with clients and reporting to directors of the company.

The option to progress within the company on completion of your apprenticeship, with hard work and commitment, there is progression routes and to continue to learn and gain more

Training Provided:
To attend Exeter College one day per week, during term time only.

Additional Information:
Maths / English Grade 4 (c) or above.
