**Building Safety Compliance Manager**who has experience managing health and safety compliance within a property environment with knowledge of the legislative building safety compliance requirements in housing and experience managing largeand complex servicing contracts is required for a well-established organisation that provides supported housing for people with learning disabilities.

**SALARY**:£48,735 per annum

**LOCATION**: Remote working / home based with visits to the Manchester office

**JOB TYPE**:Full-Time, Permanent

**WORKING HOURS**:37.5 Hours per Week

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Building Safety Compliance Manager who has experience managing health and safety compliance within a property environment with knowledge of the legislative building safety compliance requirements in housing andexperience managing large and complex servicing contracts.

Working as the Building Safety Compliance Manager you will manage all areas of property compliance, ensuring the organisation meets its statutory duties in relation to Health and safety.

As the Building Safety Compliance Manager you will manage the compliance team and deliver cost effective and reliable contracts with third party suppliers to deliver cyclical servicing and reporting on all properties.

As part of your duties as the Building Safety Compliance Manager you will also provide regular and accurate data to the Executive team and the Board relating to all areas of compliance and ensure tenants are safe in the homes the organisation provides.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline
- Previous experience in a similar property environment
- Knowledge of legislative building safety compliance requirements in housing
- Budgetary and financial control experience
- Negotiating and managing contracts with third party suppliers
- Technical building maintenance knowledge
- Ability to managing large and complex servicing contracts
- Risk management experience
- Ability to prepare and interpret numerical and technical data and explain to others
- Ability to manage and motivate a team with an open communication style that is two way and engaging
- Extensive travel is required so flexibility and a full UK driving license are essential
