**Job Overview**:
This role reports to the O2C Cash Manager and is part of the O2C Finance Shared Service Centre Team. The Cashier function is important to O2C operations to ensure that all payments received are correctly allocated to customer accounts to enable Credit Control activity to progress in a timely manner. The role is responsible for the daily cash allocation, maintaining bank records, administrative support and reporting of all sales ledger receipts. Working closely with the wider O2C Teams, R2R Team and other departments to ensure accurate processing and reporting.

**Main Duties**
- Identify receipts using Kyriba reports received from Treasury daily
- Process receipts onto customer accounts using Blackline & SAP
- Forward customer remits to Readsoft to aid the automated system within Blackline
- Daily bank reconcilations
- Liaising with internal colleagues to resolve queries
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Routine administrative tasks
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
- Manage queries received into central mailboxes
- Any other duties which from time to time are required by the Business
- Daily reporting of receipts to the Business
- Providing proof of payment/allocation details for audit purposes
- Some travel to other locations may be required

**What we are looking for**:

- Excellent Excel skills to allow data manipulation /** **analysis
- Accurate input capability and ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in inputting large volumes of data onto financial systems
- Ability to organise themselves and use their own initiative
- Experience of thinking around problems, identifying and then implementing solutions
- Experience of SAP would be advantageous, although full training will be given
