Southeast Traders is a dynamic FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) family-run company based in Cumbernauld that specialises in the production and distribution of branded food and beverage products. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented creative and experienced graphic designer to join to our team.

Full time - Permanent

Monday - Friday

40 hrs per week

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a design role.
- Proficient in using Apple Mac and Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience in packaging design, including the incorporation of back-of-pack information, and barcodes.
- Excellent brand awareness to ensure product design consistency.
- Strong layout skills and the ability to create appealing artwork compositions.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all design work.
- Efficient and fast working, delivering high-quality results within given timeframes.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about product design, displaying a genuine interest in the field.
- Adaptive to changing project requirements and open to incorporating feedback and suggestions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in creating social media content and managing social media accounts is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track website traffic and social media metrics is desirable but not required.
- Clean driving license.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Creating visually appealing presentations and graphics for new and conceptual products across multiple brands, that align with each brands’ identity and are visually engaging.
- Developing customer presentations to support sales pitches and showcase product features.
- Present design concepts and ideas to the executive leadership team, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.
- Taking designs from concept through approval process to final cutter guide design sign off with printers ensuring designs meet printer requirements.
- Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all platforms.
- Generating artwork for products and packaging, ensuring accuracy and high-quality standards.
- Overseeing product photography sessions as needed to fulfil business requirements.
- Editing product photos for presentations.
- Creating design assets for product-based websites across multiple brands.
- Creating social media content across multiple brands for new and existing products.
- Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design and marketing.
