**About The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the North Locality as a full time Inclusion Lead. We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient team member who has experience of working with education settings and other professionals to put in place child-centred plans to prevent and respond to Children Missing out on Education.

This role encompasses the following areas of work:

- Children missing from education (CME)
- Behaviour challenges including fixed term exclusions/suspensions and permanent exclusions
- Children on reduced timetables
- Attendance challenges
- Managed moves
- Medical referrals
- Children and young people who are electively home educated (EHE)
- Referring and reviewing of alternative provision (AP)

**Further Information**:
Driving Licence is essential.

Office base will be Blandford Children's Centre but the local authority support hybrid working.

This is a full time role at 37 hours per week.

This post requires significant travel. You must have a vehicle (or transport we deem suitable) available for use as needed.

You will work within a locality team who champion positive relationships, strength-based approaches to ensure the right provision is in place for the young people and remove barriers to suitable education.

You will use your leadership skills within this role, working closely with our partners, schools, and other education providers to ensure young people receive suitable education.
