Caretaker

Our client are seeking a temporary care taker for two months to take responsibility for safety and security of the buildings.

Pay: Approx. £12 per hour

Role specific skills, knowledge and experience:

- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar or related position.
- Demonstrable knowledge of building operation and maintenance
- Ability to supervise cleaning staff where appropriate
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly and adaptably

The role:

- Be on call as required and to be a key holder for the premises
- Monitor and supervise the cleanliness of the building and liaise with cleaners with regards to improvements as and when necessary.
- Assume the role of supervisor with regards to cleaning staff when working late shift.
- Undertake other miscellaneous tasks including general portage, waste disposal, recycling, repairs and other general housekeeping
- Maintain the external grounds of the building.
- Ensure pathways, steps etc. are kept clear and safe from ice, snow, leaves, algae and other debris.
