We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Steward to join our team. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our establishment. Your attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest service will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our patrons.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and storage areas
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Empty trash containers regularly and dispose of waste properly
- Stock supplies in designated areas
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and efficient workflow

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £10.34-£10.76 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 37 per week
