Head of Estimating

**Your new company**
As Head of Estimating department you will be joining a building services provider in Banbridge that is going through a recruitment drive as they expand in their project capabilities and order book. This is a family business that has expanded in recent yearsnow doing over £30M in turnover. They have just moved into new purpose built buildings and are now focused on solidifying their infrastructure. This is a senior role, but not limited as has plenty of potential to grow into more.
**Your new role**
Due to growth and expansion this new role as Head of Estimating has been created. You will be in charge of a small team of estimators (3), who will be generating detailed take-offs for commercial projects. You can expect majority of projects to be large scalecommercial and industrial. Applications include M&E plantrooms, risers and laterals among other prefabricated solutions. You will play a key role in the commercial team, determining feasibility of projects, reviewing designs and client engagement. Over timeyou will have remit of the recruitment and additional estimators. This is a role which you can make your own and have the freedom to run as you see fit.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You should have minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior estimating role, ideally within the M&E or construction sector, a third level qualification in surveying /cost engineering is desirable but not a necessity. You should be able to demonstrate projectsthat have been successfully tendered, projects completed and experience managing a team.
