Reliance Bank is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the team and part of their success.

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**

The Marketing Assistant will assist with the implementation of all Marketing and PR Strategies.
- Assist in writing emergency press releases, company newsletters and event announcements with the support of the Marketing Manager and our shareholder The Salvation Army International
- Assist in writing pro-active promotional press releases for specific Charity, Business, Commercial Finance, Residential Mortgage broker and Residential Mortgage and Personal savings publications
- Prepare company newsletters and event announcements with the support of the Marketing Manager
- Assist in promotional strategies, product development and regulatory changes
- Assist in writing and editing sales and marketing materials and gaining compliance approval, which include social media posts, interesting written copy for the website, articles, presentations, white papers and collateral
- Uploading marketing materials to online libraries, internet groups and social media sites
- Updating and maintaining the marketing department’s documentation and databases
- Complete sales-related and marketing administrative projects
- Develop promotional leaflets and support the planning and implementation of conferences, events and trade shows such as booking venues, ordering catering and ordering marketing materials
- Generate trade show passes, thank you letters, form letters for mailings to prospective customers.
- Maintain project tracking spreadsheets and business line marketing calendars
- Support the Marketing Manager to manage marketing and media event budgets and arrange preparatory meetings for trade shows and speaker panel events
- Prepare invitations, event agendas and track event registration and lead nurturing with RMs
- Help in creating and enhancing the campaign list
- Help in terms of logistics to events like speaker panel events and trade shows

**Essential knowledge, skills and experience**:

- GCSE and A level English language essential
- A degree in marketing (not essential but an advantage)
- 1- or 2-years’ experience in Marketing or PR communications writing within a business to business function (preferably within a bank or a financial services organisation)
- Ability to originate and develop creative writing
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media e.g. WordPress (Content Management System - CMS) LinkedIn

**Desirable knowledge, skills and experience -**
- Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise workload / attention to detail
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability to achieve set targets
- Personable, presentable and articulate
- Effective project management skills
- Sound understanding of marketing principles

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- B2B marketing: 2 years (required)
