Ensuring that the shop is always clean and free of hazards.
Evaluating daily sales and ensuring stock is replenished promptly.
Providing necessary training to staff and supervising them.
Listening to customer complaints and taking steps to resolve them.
Smooth resolution of conflicts that may arise between customers and staff.
Ensuring that payments are received securely from customers and that products are packaged and delivered securely.
Placing orders from distributors and agents as per requirement.
Providing information and assistance to customers in purchasing products.
Depositing money in the bank and maintaining proper accounts.
Arranging cash and carry and delivery as per requirement.
Ensuring timely opening and closing of shop.
Preparation of staff roster and its implementation.
Check and remove expired items in store.
Check chiller temperature by following the procedure and maintaining records.
Distributing promotional leaflets and carrying out promotional campaigns.
Skills, experience and qualifications
- At least three years of experience in retail management or sales is a must.
- Leadership and customer service skills are expected.
- Should have sufficient knowledge about retail business and operation.
- Have strong organisational skills and administrative abilities.
- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to sell products and services.
- maintain patience and resilience in times of difficulty.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
**Salary**: £26,200.00-£26,500.00 per year
