**Buro Happold has an fantastic opportunity for an experienced Global Data Science and Analytics Lead to join our team in Bath or London. This is a new role and a unique opportunity for an intrapreneur to be part of the core computational team to collaboratively drive our strategic Technology intentions forward.**:
This role will see you ensure that as a key member of the core computational development, innovation, and analytics team we build and deliver capabilities to the practice. Your relationship management skills, coordination skills, attention to detail and exceptional client-oriented skills will all serve you well in this role.

You will report to the Global Head of Computational Development to support our strategic intent to remain leaders in this space, embedding technology at the heart of all our designs.

This is a full-time permanent role, combining office and home working. You’ll be expected to be in the office at least 2 -3 days per week.

Working as part of this close-knit core team, you will collaborate then with our regional specialists to support them in development, delivery, and adoption of data-led processes, ensuring successful realisation of the benefits for our projects and clients.

**Key duties**:

- Liaising with global stakeholder groups to curate development priorities.
- Working with project owners, sponsors, and development teams to ensure high quality user requirements and success metrics for all development activities.
- Build brand as trusted adviser to provide consultancy advice to internal clients; challenge decisions and provide alternative solutions, to ensure compliance, in line with policies and standards.
- Working as part of our wider computational communities to programme manage delivery of prioritised data projects.
- Liaising with regional teams to support on adoption and community activities.
- Contributing to delivery of individual data projects as technical input; for instance, building workflows for data mining, analysis, or visualisation. Hands on tool development and/or business intelligence workflows.
- Defining and reviewing best practice guidelines for data gathering, management and analysis.
- Data storytelling to a variety of different audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Participating in project reviews and identification of new opportunities.
- Participation in external community activities and client presentations.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience of establishing, leading, and developing core - and our regional specialist teams in an international professional services business, ideally an LLP.
- Demonstrable success in influencing stakeholders at a senior level to adopt appropriate data and technology strategies to support the business agenda, using a variety of influencing styles, insight & expertise.
- Proven ability to build strong and effective relationships across multiple business functions.
- Experience and success in developing and delivering computational, software and/or data-driven processes for adoption in an organisation.
- Deep knowledge in data science, data engineering, software development or relevant field.
- Excellent written, visualisation and verbal communication skills, and can easily simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrable resilience to stay the course and work towards strategic goals and bring agility to react to changing business priorities and wider market forces.
