**Ward Clerk, working 24 hours per week covering a 24/7 rota, working days, nights and unsocial hours. This is a permanent position working in a band 2 role.**

We are looking for a competent and professional Ward Clerk for one of our Medical Wards at the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven. This is a permanent position working 24 hours per week.

As Ward Clerk you will act as the focal point for the Ward and their team, confidentiality being the key issue at all times. You will provide a high standard of administration support to the Ward Manager, medical staff and their team, interacting with other departments, patients and their visitors

This post is based on the Same Day Emergency Ward and Ward 6 (Short Stay Ward) however you need to be able to cover A&E Reception and other Wards.
