**Position Responsibilities**:
Maintenance of Sales, Purchase and General ledgers
Management of Dext / Xero
Daily sales receipts allocation
Supplier payment runs
Processing of monthly petty cash and credit card expenditure
Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
Daily bank reconciliations (number of bank accounts)
Processing of any intercompany entries
Posting month end journals including depreciation
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
Review and analysis of company financial data.
Preparation of Vat returns (for 3 companies)
Liaising and assisting the accountant with the Financial Year End
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Sage and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Previous bookkeeping experience
Ability to work as part of a team, yet also work using own initiative
Good organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Trustworthy team player
Experience with operational and accounting software
Interior Design company experience is a bonus
Reporting to Head of Operations
Salary 28-32K - Flexible working 3 in office 2 working from home
