**Position Overview**:Prep by Gainz, a dynamic and rapidly growing meal prep company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our meal preparation and delivery processes. This role will involve a combination of customer service, order management, order packaging, customer interaction, and quality control to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our valued customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Order Management**: Receive, process, and manage incoming customer orders through our online platform. Ensure accurate order entry, address validation, and payment processing.
- **Order Packaging**: Accurately assemble and pack customer orders in compliance with company standards and guidelines. Ensure the correct meal items, quantities, and dietary preferences are included in each order.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct thorough quality checks on each order to ensure meals are properly prepared, packaged, and meet the company's quality standards. Address any quality issues and take corrective actions as needed.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory levels of meal components, packaging materials, and supplies. Collaborate with the team to maintain adequate stock levels and place orders as necessary.
- **Customer Interaction**: Interact with customers during order pickups and deliveries. Provide friendly and efficient customer service while maintaining professionalism and adhering to safety protocols.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth workflow from meal preparation to packaging. Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors and team members to maintain operational efficiency.
- **Sanitation and Safety**: Adhere to strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards while handling and packaging food items. Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement and share suggestions to enhance overall operational efficiency, customer experience, and product quality.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or customer service training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the food service, meal prep, or customer service industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and packaging.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills for order management and communication purposes.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move moderately heavy packages.
