Pattern Cutter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cutter with strong MS Office proficiency to join our team. As a Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting pattern and materials according to specific patterns and measurements, while also handling client communication and thriving in a fast-paced environment. This is a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that materials are accurately cut for sewing and assembly, while also facilitating seamless communication with clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret patterns and specifications to determine cutting requirements
- Use cutting tools such as scissors, rotary cutters, or electric knives to cut fabric and materials
- Follow established cutting techniques to ensure accurate and precise cuts
- Organize and stack cut materials for easy retrieval by the sewing team
- Inspect cut pieces for quality control, identifying any defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain a clean and organized cutting area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Communicate with clients regarding orders, specifications, and any inquiries
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

**Skills**:

- Proficient in MS Office suite for client communication and administrative tasks
- Proficiency in using cutting tools such as scissors, rotary cutters, or electric knives
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and cuts
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics and their handling requirements
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and specifications
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric quantities
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient cutting area
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.

**Salary**: £12.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
