This is a newly created role due to the expansion of the business. In the past 2 years, this businesshas more than doubled in size, dramatically increasing both their revenues and workforce, and they're predicting the same amount of growth in the next year alone.his is a newly created role due to the expansion of the business.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work in a highly entrepreneurial SME environment backed by a private investor. During a period of terrific growth you will be taking control of the Commercial Finance Department and working with the Management Teamto drive their financial strategy.
- The job is varied but the main responsibilities are as follows:_
- You will develop insight and analysis, ensuring the provision of forward looking data to enable business decision making
- You will be working with the Senior Management Team to develop the 5 year plan and support strategic decisions
- You will provide Financial analysis including forecasting, budgeting and linking this to the financial strategic plan
- You will support and influence business decisions through finance business partnering by preparing and analysing financial data and reports
- You will undertake detailed / 'deep dive’ financial analysis using advanced Excel and financial modelling skills to provide business insight and support to ensure the business meets its performance objectives
- You will get involved in projects that revolve around best practice and continuous performance initiatives
- Who the Client is looking for _
- You will be a qualified accountant (**ACA**, **ACCA**, **CIMA**) with related post-qualification finance experience preferably with experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance.
- You will have strong systems and Excel skills - Advanced Financial modelling skills is a must, Power BI is desirable
- Have substantial experience of financial analysis
- You must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and to use these relationships to get results
- You must also have the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and operate with appropriate impact and influence
