**Trainee Estimator / Graduate Engineer**

Are you passionate about the Power Distribution / Electrical Engineering industry and looking to kick-start your career?

Toro Recruitment is seeking motivated Trainee Estimators or Graduate Engineers to join a Design & Build Electrical contractor in the Scotland region. As a Trainee Estimator, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field and contribute to exciting Electrical LV/HV projects from conception to completion.

**As a Trainee Estimator, you will**:

- Collaborate with experienced estimators to understand project requirements and scope.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of project tenders, including gathering quotes, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Utilise estimating software and tools to assist in cost estimation and budgeting for projects.
- Support in the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for construction projects.
- Maintain and organise project documents, plans, and cost data.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with project teams to refine estimates.
- Continuously learn about industry best practices and keep up to date with construction technology and materials.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A strong interest in the Electrical Engineering industry and a desire to pursue a career in Design & estimating.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent educational background in an Engineering degree (Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering equivalent).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and self-motivation.

**Salary and Package / Benefits**:

- Salary ranging from £20,000-£30,000 per annum.
- Office-based, with progression; the opportunity to work from home will be granted.
