**Job Summary**:
**Please note that salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours. These positions are temporary.**

As of 1st April 2011 East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust was formed to deliver Leisure and Cultural services on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council. East Dunbartonshire is home to three popular leisure centres - the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs, the Allander Leisure Centre in Bearsden and Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre.

Applicants will require a good general education, cash handling experience, good communication skills, pleasant telephone manner, smart appearance and knowledge and understanding of customer care. You will possess exceptional customer care skills.

Your duties will include taking bookings by telephone and at the counter, dealing with general enquiries, serving customers, cash handling, operating a computerised till and maintaining records and systems to the high standard necessary to meet the requirements of the service. To maintain a high level of satisfaction from our customers. The main duties of this post will be of an administrative nature.

Previous experience would be preferred.

The post holder will be required to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends & public holidays.

**PVG / Disclosure Scotland**:
The following criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential criteria

In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.

Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.
