Travel Sales Consultant - Antarctica

Base Salary to £35,000 + Commission OTE £50,000

My client is a UK based tour operator who specialise in adventure based bespoke trips to the polar regions, working with an affluent client base.

As the industry fully recovers from the pandemic, they are now expanding and are recruiting for a Travel Sales Consultant to focus on selling Antarctica.

The Travel Sales Consultant is responsible for the full sales cycle from the initial inquiry and helping guide customers through planning and booking their Antarctica adventure.

Previous travel sales experience within tailormade is essential for this role.

This role is can be fully remotely based within the UK or the USA

Travel Sales Consultant - Antarctica Responsibilities:
Use your own previous experience and destination knowledge of Antarctica to establish the clients' requirements and to recommend the correct programme for their needs.

Booking all aspects of travel for your customers including flight, private charters, accommodation, tours etc

Working to set performance and sales targets

Travel Sales Consultant -Antarctica Experience Required:
A real passion and enthusiasm for Antarctica

First-hand knowledge of Antarctica across multiple regions, or longer trips, are highly desirable

Experience in travel sales is essential, preferably in a tailormade role selling any region

Ambitious, self-motivated and relishes a challenge

Ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Travel Sales Consultant -Antarctica Salary and Benefits

Base Salary to £35,000 depending on experience + Commission OTE £50,000

Tailor-made educational visits to Antarctica (typically once a year)

Standard working hours are 9am to 6pm GMT, Monday to Friday, however flexible working is available

Twenty-five days of paid holiday will be awarded each year, in addition to your birthday AND public holidays
