Provision is across 3 sites including Reptile and Birds of Prey opportunities.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our team in supporting and guiding young people in their personal and social development. The role involves working with children in special education settings, providing mentorship, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for their growth in prodominatly an outdoor enviroment

This role can be Full or part time (position can be accomodated as 'Term time only' if required

**Duties**:

- Engage with young people in various activities to promote learning and personal development
- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to children facing challenges
- Plan and deliver educational sessions tailored to individual needs
- Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for the children
- Organise and supervise recreational activities for the youth
- Collate sessional notes
- Animal husbandry tasks

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children or young people in educational or mentoring roles
- Knowledge of youth work principles and practices such as THRIVE
- Ability to communicate effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and their families
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting youth development
