Content Writer

**Job Title: Content Writer & Editor
**Salary range: £27-£35k**
**Location: Chancery Lane - 2 days in office a month
**A wonderful E-Commerce organisation is looking for a Content Writer and Editor to scale their quality content production to help support and educate their customers. You’ll be the principal owner of our blog platform and all long-form content featured on thirdparty sites, ensuring to maintain a high level of brand consistency and comprehension throughout. All of this will be underpinned by a strong understanding of who our customers are and how they are looking to grow their business on Vivastreet.
Reporting to the SEO & Content Manager, you’ll provide day-to-day management of Vivastreet’s UK blog, including writing and uploading content to the platform, managing freelancers and third parties to scale the rate of content production, launch campaigns thatgenerate positive press coverage, build key relationships that amplify our content further, and work closely across the business to understand requirements for further content types.This is a superb opportunity to work within a fast-paced business that hasexciting growth plans globally.
**Job Specification**:

- Research, produce and publish a range of relevant, high-quality articles for the UK blog
- Conduct regular content gap analysis, identifying valuable content opportunities for the UK market based on customer need
- Formulate a content plan that can be communicated to relevant stakeholders and covers the key pillars of our content strategy
- Work with and effectively manage a team of external freelancers to write good quality content, ensuring that all content is comprehensively briefed and proofread/edited before publication to match our brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Utilise suitable imagery and media to ensure all content is engaging and shareworthy
- Conceive and create campaign ideas that will generate favourable press coverage, working alongside SEO & Content Manager, country-specific management and third-party PR agencies
- Regularly report on content performance, agreeing KPIs and communicating impact with key stakeholders - along with producing insights to move the content strategy forward
- Create a distribution plan for the above content, utilising our paid and owned media channels
- Work closely with the wider marketing team (SEM, SEO, CRM, Brand and Social Executives) to further the reach of this content
- Work closely with the Business, Product, Technology and Customer Service teams to identify content ideas that further improve the experiences of our customers

**Person Specification**:

- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- 2+ years’ experience of content production in a business setting, ideally using a content CMS e.g. WordPress
- A first class writer, confident in ability to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Demonstratable knowledge in creating high-quality imagery and other, varied content types
- Previous experience managing a team of freelancers and third parties to scale content production
- Previous experience analysing content performance, ideally using Google Analytics, and able to deliver key, actionable insights
- An excellent written and spoken communicator, influencer and negotiator
- An equally proactive and reactive approach, as and when needed
- Good attention to detail, creative and organised
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with HTML desirable
- Knowledge in keyword research and search engine optimisation desirable
