**Duties Include**:

- Issuing stock items and prepared prescriptions
- Follow and comply with SOPs in day to day work
- Ensuring that drugs are received and stored in an appropriate manner in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions
- Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and a log is kept
- Maintaining full and accurate records of all dispensing transactions
- Dispensing and checking repeat prescriptions
- Using the computer to keep records up to date.
- Checking with prescribers or inpatient records if concerned about the appropriateness of requests for medication
- Assisting customers
- Ordering drugs using the modem link to the wholesalers
- Assisting in stock checks
- To adhere to GDPR regulations and to our confidentiality regulation
- Reporting potential risks identified

**Desirable Criteria**:
NVQ level 2 Dispenser Qualifications

GCSE or Equivalent in Math and English

NVQ level 3 Dispenser Qualifications or higher

Knowledge/experience of ProScript

2 years or more experience in a pharmacy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
