An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Labourer/Trainee for planned maintenance on commercial and domestic properties.

We are looking for a hard working, dedicated and interested person to join our team. Work will mainly be groundwork and joinery, working with other member of the planned works team. You will assist in day to day tasks, working on larger projects, working alongside groundworkers and joiners. A driving licence is essential as you will be issued a company van to help you carry out your duties. Limited experience is no issue as we plan on working together with you to increase your experience and knowledge, in the hope that long term you will be able to carry out works by yourself.

We also have positions for experienced labourers looking to potentially gain a trade.

C&A Construction & Maintenance are a North East company specializing in the reactive maintenance and refurbishment of properties, both domestic & commercial. We operate throughout the North of England, from South Yorkshire to the Scottish Borders, and offer a 24 hour call-out service with our head office based in Co.Durham, with our headquarters in Crook.

The role will involve:

- Completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Reactive Activities and Projects
- Participation on an on call rota

Working hours generally include Monday-Friday 0800-1630, there will be an opportunity for overtime on occasions and all employees are required to join the call-out rota for out of hours emergency jobs every few weeks for which overtime rates and call out payment applies; must also be prepared to work outside of normal hours when required.
