Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Erith, Kent. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking **Warehouse Supervisor**. This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.

**Working hours : 14.00-22.00,Mon-Friday**

**Purpose of the Role.**

To supervise and ensure the accurate, safe picking, packing and dispatch of goods from the Customer Fulfilment Centre to the company's customer base in accordance with the service commitments required. To use the WMS system to oversee shift productivity,customer orders and to investigate any anomalies found. Follow given processes to ensure goods are dispatched on time and in excellent condition. Must have the notion of "Customer Experience" at the forefront of anything completed.

To promote excellent Health and Safety processes and to challenge whenever a process is seen to be not followed. To be responsible for the stock and security of the building in the CFC managers' absence.

**Responsibilities**

**Warehouse Supervision.**
- Liaise with Customer Support, Goods in and Transportation companies to co-ordinate the on-time despatch of goods daily.
- To ensure stock control systems are kept up to date and to make sure inventories are accurate.
- To conduct specific audits during shift to ensure compliance of process and work instructions.
- To execute the training of staff ensuring process is uniform across all staff and organise refreshed training where applicable.
- To produce work to given deadlines and to move, arrange and motivate staff accordingly.
- Brief and organise Warehouse Operatives daily.
- Celebrate success with the teams and recognise their contributions.
- Communicate with staff in a calm and consistent manner.
- To ensure consumable stock is ordered and maintained to a high standard.

**Health and Safety**
- Ensure the company health and safety policies are adhered to, and to communicate these where needed.
- Ensuring stock and equipment are stored safely.
- Walking the area to minimise health and safety issues that may arise.
- To promote a good health and safety relationship with staff for them to understand and a culture of two-way discussions to increase cultural awareness.
- To undergo any training required for my position as detailed in Terms and conditions.

**Team Management**
- To be punctual and conduct handovers between shifts to promote good practise and the understanding of any incomplete work or process.
- To book holiday and to issue return to work interviews for staff represented on the shift.
- To communicate information gained from management or other departments to keep every member of staff aware of what is going on around them.
- To monitor performances and productivity of staff working on the specific shift.
- To work with the Deputy CFC manager in reporting of returns and the identification of any fixes to prevent reoccurrence.
- To identify poor performance / productivity and to work with Deputy CFC manager to rectify.
- To ensure staff under your deploy are ready to work at their start time and finish at their finish time, monitoring break times on site.
- To report any equipment or building failure to management, and to segregate / make safe until repair is in place.
- To control and to police warehouse processes while on site.
