Position: Trainee Production Co-Ordinator
Location: Deeside
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm/9.00am-5.30pm
**Salary**: Up to £29,000 P/A DOE
My client is currently seeking a Trainee Production Co-Ordinator to work within their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently seeking a career with a company who in return are offering a great role, on-site training and development coupledwith additional company benefits.
You will be required to assist the Production Planning team daily to produce production schedule's as well as supporting Material Planner activities by developing raw material plans, creating material requisitions, and coordinating external suppliers andProcurement teams.

Duties and responsibilities
- Organising daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, liaising with on site team/departments and other areas of the business across the world
- Planning (Detailed Scheduling / Master Scheduling)
- Responsible for creating and updating master data in SAP (full training provided)
- Responsible for updating master data of raw materials and packaging including planned delivery times and safety stocks, checking with on-site teams
- Responsible for developing and communicating raw material plans based on production forecast
- Responsible for creation of requisitions to order raw materials / packaging
- Ensure that all raw materials are available for production without excessive stock holding
- Creation of purchase orders and management of coordinating timely delivery of materials

- Good organisation and co-ordination skills
- Excellent communication skills, speaking to different departments/individuals around the world
- Proactive and motivated
- Attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a small team
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake necessary training provided on site
- Good IT skills will be required - Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook
- Arithmetic skills - the purchase of products may be based on units/boxes/pallets and the ability to understand and switch between volumes is very important when talking to vendors
