IT Apprenticeship

LTSB is a social mobility charity and we are in our 5th year of partnership with NatWest Group.

We are offering places on our three-week interactive programme where you will receive employability training, interaction with NatWest Group staff and Q&A sessions, gain insight into the culture at NatWest Group and other employers, interview prep work and advice from previous LTSB students on their apprenticeships.

Job Description (the role you'll be doing)
- Designing and coding new features, and functionality within Security owned platforms
- Involvement in incident management-related problem solving related to every part of our systems access management platform.
- Involvement in work designed to re-platform our services
- Supporting the platforms’ operational health, stability and technology performance, including delivering and maintaining any system’s utilities and tools provided by the platform.
- Providing input to and supporting the team’s activities to make sure the platform integrity is maintained in line with technical roadmaps
- Contributing and making sure that risks are discussed and understood at every step, and effectively collaborating to mitigate risk.
- Contributing to the planning and execution of work and the timely servicing of feature development requests across different platforms.
- Participating and seeking out opportunities to simplify the platform infrastructure, architecture, services and customer solutions
- Building relationships with platform, domain and relevant stakeholders
- Making sure that controls are applied and constantly reviewed to ensure full compliance to all our policies and regulatory obligations

- You don’t need previous experience, but you do need to show evidence of a genuine interest in the sector.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Educated at a state school
- Live in Edinburgh
- Received free school meals and/or require additional support to access careers
