**The Role**

**Senior Planer**
- Preparing planning appraisals of land and buildings for Solar project.
- Contribute to the preparation and editing of Design & Access statements, sustainability statements, and other supporting documents.
- Liaising and negotiating with planning officers, employees of consultee organisations, third parties.
- Liaising and cultivating good relationships with clients and fellow professionals.
- Preparing and making presentations at meetings, including parish council and planning committee.
- Witing complex reports, interpreting data and making clear and relevant recommendations.
- Maintaining an awareness of marker conditions and the impact of government policies.
- RTPI accredited degree.
- Working towards or plans to pursue full RTPI chartership.
- Detailed knowledge of the UK Town Planning system.
- Detail orientated with excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience taking the lead on projects
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Flexible/hybrid working
