Conveyancing Assistant - Huddersfield
An award winning, Legal 500 Law firm in Yorkshire are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team. A firm with their expertise and knowledge enable them to solve their clients problems in a seamless time. With 270 team members, working in 12 differentpractice areas, across 14 offices they offer the full spectrum of legal services to organisations and to the individual.
The Role
- Be responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and responses to correspondence
- Attending to clients, estate agents, Solicitors, and other third parties both on the telephone and in writing to keep them updated on transactions
- Issuing sales contract packs
- Obtaining redemption statements
- Preparing draft completion statements
- Carrying out relevant searches and preparing reports
- Regularly maintain case management systems, internal databases and third party websites and keep them up-to-date in real time
- Ensure clients and further businesses receive the best standard of service as possible.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential property role.
- Have experience handling a varied caseloads from opening of the file to completion.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Can build strong client relationships and have great communication skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
