Purpose of the Role

To assist with the smooth running of the Estate and to assist with all emergency situations when they occur. This

includes providing visible security cover to the Estate, handling enquiries and customer concerns, monitoring

CCTV (by suitably trained and licensed staff) and alarms particularly fire alarm controlling contractors and

deliveries to the Estate.

Key Responsibilities

To build strong relationships with stakeholders and respond promptly to their needs.

To monitor systems within the Estate and act appropriately by following the sitewide instructions and processes.

To carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Estate Manager.

To undertake regular reporting through internal systems

To comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the Estate, including goods left in common areas to avoid any

breaches of Health and Safety and fire precautions

To ensure that the Rules & Regulations of the Estate are always complied with.

To monitor activity within the Estate via the CCTV and report All occurrences to be recorded and Estate

Management informed.

Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere fully to requirements for contractor management.

Ensure that the Estate is in keeping with the values as stated in the Estate handbook

10. To assist stakeholders with general enquires

11. To provide excellent customer service (concierge service) keyholding, facilitate access for contractors and

utilities companies

12. A willingness to adjust to changing priority’s

13. To be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company

14. To comply with the Security Industry Act 2001, officers must hold a valid SIA Security License and where

necessary a Public Space Surveillance License

15. To work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

16. Excellent customer service skills

17. Excellent communication at all levels (written and verbal)

18. Can follow site instructions

19. Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations

20. Able to use monitoring systems such as Fire alarms

21. Well presented

22. Accurate record keeping with good attention to detail

23. Good knowledge of the local area
