The Other House, South Kensington is looking for a dynamic and energetic Security Officer, who can blend the traditional security role with a modern and intuitive guest service approach, making sure that residents, members, guests and team members feel safe and at home in their Other House. We are looking for an individual that will wants to develop with the company, has an entrepreneurial mindset and passionate about sustainability and cutting edge technology.

The Security Officer will report to the Director of Security and the Assistant Security manager on a property level and will play an essential role in the daily safety across the property. They will be flexible and creative, working ‘outside the box’ and across all areas of the house according to business needs and in line with management direction.

- Mastered the traditional ways of hospitality, you will comfortably challenge those traditions for something better, more future-focused and you will be able share the story of where you’ve done this before.
- The ability to deal with challenging situations and turn it into a positive experience.
- The ability to identify any situations that might be a risk and own it through to resolution.
- A SIA Door Supervisor licence holder.
- A valid First Aid at Work certificate.
- Right to Work in the UK**The key responsibilities of the Security Officer role are**:

- Ensuring that the experience of Residents and Members surpasses expectations of a high-profile brand
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of **The Other House**, and delivering exceptional standards
- Working with key stakeholders, to deliver Resident satisfaction with a pro-active approach to problem resolution
- Responding to alarms and emergencies to ensure a home for our residents and house mates.
- Nurturing robust relationships with stakeholders, mastering communication at all levels
- Ensuring visitors and contractors are registered and aware of expectations while visiting.
- Supporting with incident reporting and investigations to avoid recurrence.
- Conducting daily safety visits throughout our house to ensure potential dangers to residents and housemates are identified
- Using all equipment in line with training to ensure an appropriate outcome for residents and house mates.
