**3 ON 3 OFF SHIFT PATTERN: DAYS & NIGHTS**

**What's in it for me?**

People Solutions are hiring Machine Operators for our client based in Whetstone, LE8.

A Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is cleaned, maintained. The Machine Operator will report to the Plant Manager.

**Day to Day Duties**
- Operate machine to perform machine operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform quality control inspections of parts for quality control purposes.
- Maintain work area by following safety procedures and guidelines.
- Complete any assigned paperwork for the plant or job as required by the supervisor.
- Complete any required documentation for the company or job as required by the supervisor.
- Work with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, including supervisors and co-workers.

**Essential Skills**
- Basic maths skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to use precision measuring devices such as callipers or micrometers to verify accuracy of materials being measured.
- Ability to use basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

**Desirable Experience**
- Previous Machine Operating experience is desired.

Full training provided on site.
