BMC Recruitment Group are delighted to working alongside a well established business in the Newcastle upon Tyne area who are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join on a permanent contract.

As Head of Finance, you will be an integral member of the finance leadership team. Overseeing the Accounts Payable & Receivable, Taxation, FP&A and Supply Chain departments you will be responsible for the development, growth and continued success of the finance team.

Hybrid working of 2 days a week from home is available. There is also felxible working available.

**Job Duties include**:

- Lead and develop the growing finance team
- Complete oversight of all aspects of the Finance function: - Accounting (AP) and taxation - FP&A and controlling - Accounts receivable - Supply chain
- Final review of management accounts and statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP by the team, reviews of final TBs and disclosures prior to provision to the auditors
- Close collaboration and business partnering with the Directors and senior stakeholders to drive growth and achieve business milestones
- Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity
- Relationship with banks and financial institutions
- Work closely with Group functions on transversal topics

**Person Specification**:

- Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA or other relevant qualification
- Proven experience in finance management
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent Excel skills
- Oracle Cloud experience (desirable)
