We are looking to recruit a Logistics Co-ordinator to work for a leading global manufacturing company based in Workington.

They would also be competent on Microsoft Office with advanced excel skills. Knowledge of BREXIT import/export process would be advantageous.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Work safely**
- Complete safety training, as required
- Maintain safe working area
- Participate in safety discussions, share safety topics, identify hazards and raise near miss for resolution

**Outbound Shipping**
- Attend daily team meeting to support prioritisation orders when there is an unplanned delay
- Create pick lists, delivery and shipping notes to meet customer shipping requirements
- Communicate and book transport with haulier as required
- Maintain shipping requirements in Portal
- Escalate if material is not available/found
- Escalate if delay in delivery to customer

**Returns/rejects**
- Process returns in SAP
- Inform quality when goods are back on site for customer returns or shipped for raw material returns to supplier
- Arrange disposition of material as advised by Quality

**Cycle counting and inventory record accuracy**
- Manage inventory and lost pallets at external warehouse
- Ensure stock counts are performed at External warehouse and anomalies investigated and actioned
- Perform root cause investigation to stock anomalies and create a corrective action plan
- Generate cycle counting and supply to Service team
- Input reconciliation into SAP, as required

**Back up colleagues for Goods receipts**
- Pro-actively review expected inbound materials to ensure timely delivery
- Generate clearance documentation, as necessary
- Process in SAP prior to delivery to generate labels as required
- Finalise GR when material is delivered
- Communicate to quality if any damaged goods are received
- Maintain inbound timed delivery booking system
- Place purchase orders for consumables

**Continuous improvement**
- Support improvements in logistics processes
- Initiate, lead, participate in and contribute to continuous improvement projects within the Supply chain team

**Back up colleagues**
- Back up within the logistics team
