My client is an awarding winning innovator and one of the UK’s leading manufacturing companies. They are looking for a Production Planner for a 10-month contract to cover maternity leave to December 2024. With evidence of previous production planning experience, you will be able to evidence the following duties and responsibilities:

- Reporting to the Production Lead responsible for the day-to-day planning of production schedules.
- Using SAP & LynqMES to assess orders, looking closely at part availability & dates required.
- Communicating effectively with key departments and personnel in the planning of orders with accuracy and keeping plans running on time.
- Ensure plans are up to date for the production teams.
- Attend daily Production meetings as well as any other meetings relating to your role.
- Working closely and liaising with the Sales support department to ensure queries are communicated and where necessary resolved.
- Continually undertake forward planning to ensure all future orders are completed on time.
- Keeping on top of parts used and required, and liaising with the purchasing department if any parts need ordering.
- Working closely with and supporting the production lead
- Use of Microsoft office Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential.
- Ensuring all duties are conducted according to Quality Control and Health and Safety procedures.

**In Return what is in it for you**

**Competitive salary** £25000 to £27000

**Hours ** **Week 1** - 8 am to 5pm Monday to Thursday. Friday 8am to 11.30am ½ hour for lunch 37 ½ hours

**Week 2** - 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday ½ hour for lunch 37 ½ hours

**Overtime** Over time is paid as follows.
- Monday to Friday over 37 ½ hours any additional hours up to 7½ hours are paid at T ⅓
- Weekends up to 7 ½ hours are paid at T ½
- Weekends and Bank Holidays over 7 ½ hours are paid at Tx2

**NB**: Overtime is occasional not every week.

**Uniform** Part Uniform is provided.

**Holidays** 22 days + 8 Statutory Bank holidays per annum (Pro-rata)
