Saw Operator

Our client, a UK leader in it's industry, is looking to hire **permanent **Saw Operatives to assist with the production of timber products for the new build housing market. This work is based in **Hixon Staffordshire.**
- Full on the job training is provided so no experience is necessary and an immediate start. Ideally, you will have an understanding of production/manufacturing.
- Our client will show you the scope of work on a meet and greet that can be arranged so you can see exactly what you will be doing.

**Key responsibilities of a Saw Operative**:

- Use of hand and air tools
- Operating cross cut saw, a bandsaw, and a table saw - full training given
- Measuring up timber correctly
- Measuring and cutting of insulation product
- Working from instruction
- Safe movement of timber around factory/yard
- Willingness to take onboard training given

**Saw Operative job details**:

- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm
- £11.44 for all new starters, monthly pay as it's a permanent job.
- An employee can expect to earn more via per hour bonuses when trained and exceeding production targets which is very achievable

**Due to location of the work, your own transport is required, unless you live in Hixon village. There is no public transport links to the site.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£13.02 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
