As part of a countywide education campaign to inform residents about the kerbside recycling service and which materials can or cannot be recycled, we require enthusiastic individuals to join the experienced team to support the Strategic Waste and Operational/Street Scene teams within the Durham Council.

WHAT IS INVOLVED? - This will be a mostly customer service based role. The role will involve going to marketing events and meetings including door canvassing. Educating the general public on correct recycling methods. There may be the occasional need to accompany the recycling teams on their rounds.

Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C) is required for this role. Driving licence is essential and driver assessment training will be required before starting the role.

Place of work will be Meadowfield, Durham. 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work outside of normal working hours from time to time.

Working with Blu tech you will receive weekly pay, will accrue paid annual leave hours and be given a named consultant as your main point of contact.

This is a temporary role for project work and is expected to last at least 6 months.

**Salary**: £10.98-£15.50 per hour
