Charity shops are more popular than ever and the retail shops for Ferne Animal Sanctuary play a key role in our business success.

Your new role will be always on the go using the Company vans to assist the shops with stock rotation, supply, house clearances, furniture and large item collection and also for deliveries. You will be a member of our Retail Team so on occasion you may be required to support with General Maintenance duties.

Furniture must be handled with care to ensure the customer receives the goods in the same condition as when it was bought.

On occasion, shifts will be available for events and functions to help with the set up and take down of equipment and stock.

To succeed in this role you will need a full clean driving licence, a flexible and friendly approach with a can do attitude. You will have experience in a Customer facing role and a good geographical knowledge of the local area, an understanding of vehicle maintenance would be desirable but not essential.

Our driver will work flexibly over a seven-day working week, possibly including some weekend work so a flexible approach to shifts is imperative.
