Utility Arborists

PLS Group UK currently have permanent vacancies for Utility Arborists/team leaders working across the whole of Yorkshire.

**Essential requirements**:

- Able to provide previous work experience references
- Self-motivation and positive attitude
- Ability to operate electronic devices such as IPAD etc.
- Team leaders would need a full UK driving licence (preferabley with provision for towing a trailer)
- NPTC chainsaw and climbing (list in more detail)
- NPTC manually fed wood chipper

**Desirable requirements**:

- NPTC utility arb units, UA1, UA2.1/2/3
- NPTC Utility arb unit 5
- NPTC operate MEWP
- NPTC operate chainsaw from MEWP
- Live line cutting experience (L.V.)
- CSCS
- SSSTS
- IRATA level 1

**Training**:
Any relevant qualifications are welcome, but any specific training required will be provided.

**Work location**:
PLS Group UK are based near Colburn, Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire approximately 5 minutes from the A1. All teams usually start and finish in the yard.

**Working hours**:
7:00AM - 17.00PM Monday to Friday with weekend work available.

**Salary**:
Salary between £25,000 and £35,000 per annum plus benefits based on experience and qualifications

PLS Group are highly experienced in the utility arb field along with general arboricultural work. We are also a training provider for the full range of NPTC arb and UA arb units. As a company we believe in providing the latest training, equipment and mechanisation (such as MEWPS, large chippers for large scale projects, excavators for brash and timber handling etc.).

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
