Warehouse Operative/dispatch

Wasdell Europe is part of the Wasdell Group, one of the leading outsourcing partners to the pharmaceutical industry.

A vacancy exists for a Warehouse Operative (Dispatch Team) working 37.5 hours per week and occasional overtime. Working a shift-work pattern is a requirement of this position.

The Warehouse Dispatch Operator reports to the Warehouse Manager / Supervisor designee, as appropriate.

Duties of the Warehouse Dispatch Operator are:

- To work to required standards of operation - Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) at all times
- To load and unload goods onto/from vehicles (forklift / manually)
- To assist with the preparation & packing of goods for dispatch
- To ensure Dispatch paperwork is accurate and prepared in a timely fashion
- To ensure that the correct goods are loaded onto the correct vehicle (as on paperwork)
- To ensure that the correct Dispatch paperwork is ready; and processed with the driver
- When requested to check the stock-location of items and their stock levels using the SAGE
- To update stock records on SAGE as required
- To receive-in packed goods from Production, ensuring they are correctly identified and stored, while maintaining records in the line with procedure
- To carry-out & completing Warehouse cleaning in line with procedure
- To assist with maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe work environment
- To show due care with the handling and storage of goods
- To carry-out and complete stock checks as required
- To check equipment and ensure forklifts are charged to manufacture’s guidelines
- To assist with maintaining a stock of clean and serviceable pallets for use at the Warehouse
- To work to and comply with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
- To complete ongoing training of SOPs and to follow these at all times
- To carry-out and complete any other duties / tasks as requested by a Manager / Supervisor
