**Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Driver**

We are a London and Hampshire based creative furniture company designing and manufacturing commercial furniture within the UK. We are currently a team of 50 with ambitious growth plans.

Rawside design and manufacture high quality furniture for the contract market. Most of our customers are within the UK but we have recently completed a number of successful projects in Europe and expect to expand these markets. Our environmental credentials are a key part of our business and having recently been certified as a BCorp business we are keen to improve our positive impact on the environment, our community and our team.

**Job Summary**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Sort, organise and manage the sheet material wood store, along with all associated components and fittings.
- Communicate with machine operators in order to prepare goods for their work.
- Unload and load trucks with packs of large format sheet material.
- Be responsible for the sensible storage of materials and parts, monitor and manage stock levels.
- Process inventory (goods in and out)
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals

**Experience & Skills Required**
- Physically able to carry out above duties in a safe manner.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Previous use and certification for driving counterbalanced forklift trucks

**What you’ll need**:

- A minimum of 2-years experience within a similar role
- Certification/Proof of training in driving counterbalanced forklift trucks
- UK Driving license

**Other Information**:

- Permanent position
- Place of work: Ropley, Hampshire, SO24 0EF
- Salary: £12-£14 per hour (dependent upon experience)
- Bonus scheme: We operate an annual bonus scheme based upon Company and Personal performance.
- Holidays: 20 days for first year and 25 days thereafter (excluding public holidays)
- BUPA Healthcare after 6-months
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm (hours may need to be flexed to suit deliveries and work schedules).
- Overtime regularly available
