**About the Role**

The Electronic Security Systems Engineer will be responsible for the installation of Intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and servicing electronic security systems within the Access and Security department. You will be responsible for the installations and maintenance of all electronic security systems to NSI Gold Standards, development & growth of this area within the business, to make it a leading supplier within the industry.

**Responsibilities**
- Carry out site surveys in line with NSI Gold requirements and SOP’s.
- Carry out all installations and reactive and preventive maintenance to NSI Gold standards.
- Installation of all types of security systems (Access Control, Intruder Alarm and CCTV).
- Maintenance & Servicing of all Electronic Security systems offered (Access Control, Intruder Alarm and CCTV).
- Any other task as deemed necessary by your line manager.

- Ability to learn and adapt to changing environments, products and regulations.
- Ability to guide trainee engineers.
- Paperwork to be detailed and kept confidential in a timely manner and to specified standards.
- Ability to solve practical problems when attending call outs to detect and repair faults.
- Good understanding of NSI codes of practice and British Standards.

- Previous experience of working in an engineering capacity
- Experience of providing technical assistance remotely
- Knowledge of process through NSI
- Networking and IP knowledge - Access control, CCTV
- Knowledge of Intruder alarms, CCTV Systems, Security Systems Maintenance
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Security Screening - BS 7858
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
